4 Stars Amazing Ideas
I’m happy with this book and determined to visit as many of these locations as possible. My only complaint is that I like big, beautiful pictures of the locations which it was too small to provide.

4 Stars Wow, there are alot of places I need to see!
This book gives a wide variety of places to see, hike, explore. It distinguishes between driving tours, boat tours, walking tours, ect. I think its great for anyone thinking of traveling.

3 Stars gave book as gift, recipient says it is “ok”
Gave this book to my in-laws for Christmas as they are planning on traveling around the country in search of a new place to live at lower altitude. They have read through the book and say it is not really catered to any one type of traveler and that it is really all over the place. For example in one town it will mention one restaurant but not the really cool museum in the same town. I guess I would recommend this book not really as a travel guide but rather as a companion to a travel guide. Interesting places are highlighted for sure but not a lot of cohesiveness.

5 Stars Travel fun!
A fun way to see what you have experienced and what else you need to see and do!

5 Stars Great Fun
It is fun to page through this book and check off places you have been and see what places you might like to visit.

If you asked a hundred people for a thousand places to see before you die, you might get a list similar to this. There is no doubt that you can do what other reviewers have done and thought of something that should be on the list but isn’t. Overall however, this is a well thought out list with a wide variety of things to see and do.

This book is interesting in the types of ‘places’ it has listed. There are whole cities listed (Roswell, New Mexico), specific places within one city (Stockyards at Fort Worth Texas) and even events (Texas State Fair) and luxury hotels (Bellagio in Las Vegas). Some places listed cover several things all at once; for example, Food in New Orleans listed two or three very well known places to eat.
